We are developing a Montessori Language Learning program where children will explore learning materiales across key areas of this prepared environment specially designed for additional language acquisition.

Your donation will help create innovative learning resources for language learning using Montessori principles for their design and production that will be trialed and used in various Living Labs across the globe. At Garden of Words we are a collaborative of Montessori and non-Montessori practitioners, researchers and interested people working together on a voluntary basis to create bilingual and multilingual learning environments for children and young people. With your support, the scope and reach of our project can reach more corners of the world.

Pilot and Living Labs
As part of development of the Garden of Words (GoW) Montessori specialism program for LL we will be conducting a pilot study in Glasgow this summer. We will use Spanish as the target language for this pilot.
In other regions Living Labs for the GoW are being set up to further develop this program, trial key areas, scafolding and proposed learning materials.
GoW working groups
We are a collective of Montessori and non-Montessori practitioners, researcher and interested people working together on this research project.
We have regular meetings and are organised in subgroups and teams.
